Life Lately : Volume 11

This isn’t what I planned to post today, but I’ve missed a lot of things I planned to post lately, so I wanted to do a “brain dump” post and clear my head.

Charlotte’s sleep is crap lately. I know everyone in my real life is tired of hearing about this. Sorry everyone. We think she’s not going into deep sleep because she wakes up around 5-6 times a night. .Any tips are greatly, greatly welcomed.

Feeling Fancy!

I feel like I’m having trouble keeping up with things at work and home lately. I’ll take tips on managing all of the adult life stuff too, please and thank you.

I have been making changes to my eating this month. I feel like I’m losing weight, but man am I tired of blah, boring, sugarless coffee!

THIS IS US is back!! Last night’s episode was really good, and it felt more like the older episodes. I’m looking forward to this half of the season. There are a couple of other shows I want to watch, but I haven’t made time to start them yet.

I’ve been ramping up my reading lately. I’m getting into listening to audio books when I’m at my desk at work and during my commute. I’m listening toΒ Last Christmas in Paris right now, and it’s so good! Have you read anything good lately?

Upcoming plans for the blog space : declutter diaries, Wellness Wednesday (a little late), 10 on the 10th (a lot late), and Amber Can Read. I’m ready to get my act together and start writing more regularly!

  1. Have you tried diffusing lavender in her room? Eucalyptus and lavender is my favorite bedtime blend.
    I understand the strugglebus life, but you can make it!! Get a white board and prioritize…you know it works πŸ™‚

    • I haven’t tried lavender, but I should! We moved her out of a toddler bed and into an actual bed, and it’s made a huge difference! She’s still waking up a couple of times a night, but it’s nothing like it was before!

  2. I start my morning with a bit of quiet time and then I make my to-do list. I add simple things like make the bed, feed the kitties and chores like vacuum the den, and errands like mail package to the girls. It really helps me stay on track because as fast as I think of something I need to do, I will forget it the next minute. Having a list is huge!

    • Great morning routine! I was really good about making lists and utilizing my planner, but then I slacked on it. I can always tell when I’m slacking on making my lists and sticking to good habits because I start to feel out of control. Thanks for the reminder that I don’t need to overcomplicate things in order to get things accomplished! πŸ™‚
